During thick plate piercing, residue often forms, which not only affects the cutting start but also complicates the processing of small holes. To address this issue, Jiatai's bus system is equipped with a piercing residue removal function.
I. Activating the residue removal function is simple:
① First, click on "Piercing Residue Removal" and adjust the parameters as needed.
② The recommended cutting speed is 8-12m/min; it should not be too fast.
③ Set the nozzle height to 20mm, and ensure that the residue removal gas matches the cutting gas, with oxygen being the preferred choice. Please note that air and nitrogen create hard residue after piercing, so the residue removal function is not recommended in these cases.
II. Detailed Parameter Settings:
① Pressure: 1 bar
② Power: 20%
③ Duty Cycle: 25%
④ Focus: Approximately 12, to avoid concentrating too much energy on the plate surface and leaving deep marks.
Finally, adjust the radius and the number of circles flexibly until the residue is completely removed. Jiatai Laser ensures your cutting process is more efficient and smoother.
