After replacing the cutting head, how do you recalibrate the zero focus point? Today, we will detail this critical preparation step. Finding the zero focus point is crucial before performing process adjustments, as changing the cutting head may alter the zero focus position.

Methods to Find the Zero Focus Point

1. Intelligent Drawing Establishment

After replacing the cutting head, all cutting process parameters may need to be readjusted. If we have already calibrated the zero focus point beforehand, we only need to recalibrate it again after replacing the cutting head. Then, with a slight adjustment to the process parameters, cutting can commence.

2. Cutting Focus Workpiece

This step requires creating a test workpiece. We can use a "feeler gauge" for testing. The feeler gauge includes iron sheets of different thicknesses. To save time, we have simplified the process of selecting and combining the thicknesses. The ultimate goal is for the iron sheet to pass through all gaps at a certain thickness until it cannot pass through any more gaps, ensuring it can pass through the gaps before and after this point. This way, we have found the zero focus point.

If during the test, the position where the sheet cannot pass through is not at 0, for example, it is at 2, we need to calibrate the system. The specific steps are as follows:
① Start the focus auto test.
② Find the "focus standard value" and enter 2.
③ Click "write calibration."

This completes the entire zero focus point calibration process.
By following these methods, you can easily calibrate the zero focus point of the cutting head, laying a solid foundation for subsequent process adjustments.
