Antifreeze solution
1. Keep the chiller non-stop
In the case of local power failure, the chiller can be kept running, and both low-temperature water and room temperature water are set to about 5°C (to ensure that the cooling water is higher than the freezing point, while saving electricity).
2. Drain the cooling water in the machine

The operation method is as follows:
1. Turn off the water cooler and laser power supply, and unplug the corresponding power plug or disconnect the switch;
2. Disconnect the water pipe of the laser and drain the water naturally into the empty bucket;

3. Use compressed gas to blow in from one end of the water pipe (gas pressure cannot exceed 0.4MPa or 4kg) to assist drainage; after the first drainage is completed, it is recommended to repeat step 3) at least 2 times after 10 minutes to ensure the residual water inside. Empty all

5. After draining the water, the output optical cable head is required to be injected with antifreeze and short-circuited with a hose.
Note 1: No antifreeze can completely replace deionized water, so long-term use throughout the year is not recommended. Once the temperature warms up after the winter (the ambient temperature is above zero degrees Celsius), be sure to replace the antifreeze in time, and replace it with clean purified water or distilled water. The method of replacing the antifreeze is as in step 3 above.
Note 2: Especially in the north, even in the case of adding antifreeze, in winter, especially when the room temperature is very low, try to maintain continuous water cooling, and do not stop using the water cooler. Especially at night, if it is not working, turn on the water cooler to maintain the water circulation to prevent the cooling water from freezing and damaging the pipeline. The laser air-conditioned room maintains a constant temperature.
Note 3: If the machine is shut down for a long time (such as during the Spring Festival shutdown) or before the laser is transported, the cooling water in the equipment must be drained, and the residual water in the equipment (including the laser and chiller) must be blown out with compressed air to prevent internal formation. Ice damages the device.
3. Use antifreeze to replace cooling water
Add professional brand antifreeze to the water chiller. The AntifrogenN antifreeze from Clariant recommended by the laser company is added at a ratio of 3:7 (3 is antifreeze and 7 is water). After adding the antifreeze, it can resist -20 degrees Celsius. It will freeze. If the temperature is below this range, you should consult the water cooler or antifreeze supplier to confirm the antifreeze ratio.
